Zelten & Stollen


The „Zelten“ is a traditional, regional fruitcake and the South tyrolean Christmas pastry par excellence.

The dough consists, amongst others, of crushed dry fruit, hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, candy fruit, spices and rum. The surface is additionally decorated with almonds, nuts and fruit and glazed with sugar glaze. We prepare the „Zelten“ as well in the summer season.

 

Stollen time

We prepare our selfmade „Stollen“ in two different sizes. The sweet, heavy yeast dough is seasoned with flavourings and refined with almonds, raisins and candy fruit. The Stollen is a traditional Christmas pastry from Germany. The most famous Stollen is the Dresdner Weihnachtsstollen, which bears the GGA trademark.
